Kenya’s official languages are English and Swahili, and English is widely spoken across hotels, restaurants, and tourism services.

- Habari? – How are you?
- Asante – Thank you
- Asante sana – Thank you very much
- Pesa – Money
- One, Two, Three – Moja, Mbili, Tatu
