Broad function: The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales and marketing team by coordinating and implementing various activities to drive revenue growth and enhance brand awareness. This position requires a combination of organizational, communication, and analytical skills to ensure the seamless execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Broad function:

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales and marketing team by coordinating and implementing various activities to drive revenue growth and enhance brand awareness. This position requires a combination of organizational, communication, and analytical skills to ensure the seamless execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Coordinate Sales and Marketing Activities

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve business goals

Administrative Support

  • Manage and maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Prepare and distribute sales and marketing materials, reports, and presentations
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales and marketing teams.

Communication and Correspondence

  • Respond to customer inquiries in the sales inbox and ensure all emails are responded to by Reservations and the sales team.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate relevant information

Loyalty Program

  • Develop and manage the Enashipai Loyalty program including awarding of points, redemption and generating weekly/monthly reports.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to enhance marketing strategies.

Sales Support

  • Handle the Naivasha market segment
  • Assist in lead generation and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure proper communication of product/service features and benefits.
  • To actively seek out new clients and to agree best possible rate structures.
  • To be familiar with outside factors that may affect the hotels business including competitor rates and availability, new businesses coming into market.
  • Seek partnership and joint promotions with credit card companies, magazines, airlines, websites, mobile networks and business association.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics.

Event Planning

  • Organize and coordinate trade shows, golf days conferences, and other events to promote the company’s products/services.
  • Be the hotel representative in both internal and external functions and events.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both sales and marketing teams
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Monitor Marketing costs monthly and generate report

Others

  • Ensure timely generation of LPO’s and correct invoicing of all items ordered.
  • Any other job assigned by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Previous experience in sales, marketing, or hospitality industry preferred.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with a creative flair for developing compelling marketing materials.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  9. Knowledge of hotel operations and industry trends is a plus.
  10. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
